Brandon Weaver never imagined he would be a stage performer. He was born Brandon Anthony Weaver on January 15, 1985 in Royal Oak, Michigan and is his parents’ only child. He lived in Oak Park, Michigan, a suburb near Detroit, until the age of 14. The summer before Weaver was to attend high school the family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and a year later to Rio Rancho, New Mexico. During high school Weaver could more readily be found on a basketball court or running long distances rather than in the school’s drama department. He ran varsity cross country and served as a varsity triple jumper on the school’s track team. Upon graduation from Rio Rancho High School, Brandon Weaver enlisted in the United States Army Reserve. After returning from eight months of active duty training, Weaver enrolled in the University of New Mexico with aspirations of becoming an actor even though his original degree plan was for a bachelor’s in Criminology. Along with being an actor, Brandon Weaver is also a writer, producer, editor, and director. He graduated from the University of New Mexico on May 17, 2008 with a Bachelor's of Art in Theatre with a concentration in acting. He currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. |
